What is Visual Information?

Visual Information is a term used to describe the use of visuals as a means of connecting or helping us to understand, learn or interpret information.  Also referred to as visual learning, communications combined with visual information are more thoroughly and easily understood.

How we think and how we learn is greatly affected by images that we see.  The visual information that we process when linked verbal information helps make a connection and improves our ability to recall related details.

What is Visual Design?

Making order out of disorder by using color, light, shapes, patterns and images.  Taking that which has already been done and and using it in an entirely new way.  Arranging elements in a static or active, symmetric or asymmetric pattern in order to create what is known as a design.

What is Information Architecture?

This term applies to the placement or layout of information that follows a logical thought path.  This can include; verbal, visual and negative or white space.

What is a Target Audience?

Your target Audience is made up of stake holders, investors, customers, prospects, readers, anyone that you want to be the recipient of your communications.
